Salutations, me hearties!

Current Digital Project:
I find myself in a bit of a slump at the moment. While working on some requests, I lost my mojo. Well, it would be more honest to say that I was very unsatisfied with the quality of my mojo and decided  to work on improving- the underlying quest in everything I do. Basically, I want to work on faces, on musculature, anatomy, and portraying the human figure... With a little clothing work on the side. Honestly, clothing is not my strongest suit but my OCD will force me to figure that out eventually. For now, I start with basics. A lot of clothing is texture work, folds, and using reference pictures- that whole lot. Painting a human face, however, is not that simple of a fix.

That's all a lot of flim-flam jibber-jabber natter-prattle for I'm working on a collection of different facial shapes for men, now, that will be posted en masse... soon. [5/9] Once this is done, I'm going to take all the separate portraits and work on painting hair, so they'll be posted then as full portraits.

Personal:
I've been considering doing some daily sketch efforts that would be turned into sketch dumps... But I don't.
Also, I have yet to draw Sam in a way that, to me, shows him truly. His face and nose are a little... Hard to get right. I have found some new face models and will hopefully be able to do Sam some serious justice.

I'm tired of DeviantArt trying to tell me that I 'need a Premium Membership.' Seriously. When I NEED a Premium Membership, I'll go and flippin' BUY one! Yeesh!

I recently read 'The Pale Horse' manga... The art is really... Whimsical. It's rather neat and I very much appreciate it. The story itself is also very interesting, given that in a way, it's a little Hansel and Gretel... Except more what's-her-bucket and Kai (according to the manga itself).
