Distortion World portals randomly appearing and disappearing is the definition of a control freak’s worst nightmare.
Despite his chill and largely submissive personality, he's very much a control freak when it comes to Kanto and protecting people.
And John does not handle intense emotions well. He doesn’t know what to do with his feelings.
And I’ve been watching the Game Grumps a lot and realized that some of their gamer rage rants worked perfectly. And it made me laugh really hard to think of John having that kind of reaction and could not resist drawing it out. More swearing than usual because I didn't feel like finding non-swear alternatives.
